So excited to be sharing this special workshop ‘Cacao + Ceremony Around the World’ at this years Puerto Viejo Chocolate Festival!

This workshop will look at what ceremony and ritual can mean around the world, and how it can be used in our own lives.
Seperating relgious doctrine with personal connection, to whatever it may be that you believe in – nature, love, family, freedom and life. We have so much to learn from our ancient traditions and cultures around the world that were closely connected to nature, body and spirit. Cultures that collaborate, celebrate and support life.
Cacao is where chocolate comes from – the purest form. The majority of commercial processing, developed in making chocolate, eliminates the active health benefits and compounds found in Cacao. 99% missing in Hersheys or Cadburys. 80% missing in Lindt or Green & Blacks.
A ceremony with Cacao involves taking a ceremonial dose, an amount that elevates your heart rate, opens blood vessels and facilitates an openness in emotion. A substance that doesn’t take you on a psychoactive trip elsewhere but facilitates your own lucid, happy, connected feeling.
The idea is to take a moment to give thanks and add value to all that you consume and take into your body consciously. To become connected in this way, can add connection to all other aspects of life – to your body, relationships, physical and emotional wellbeing.
The ceremony and idea of ritual is simple – to allow you to connect in your own personal way. To be able to check in with yourself without distraction. To become your own teacher, psychatrist, health coach and mentor. In a collective format, circle, gathering we can add to this feeling of support – knowing we are never alone – even when taking this personal moment to connect.
